Important information - please read carefully before submitting application:

• You must be a High School Student in grades 9-12.
• All musical genres are welcome.
• If selected your performance piece must not be longer than 3 minutes.
• Explicit lyrics are not acceptable.
• Vocalists need to supply your own accompaniment - CD player and piano will be available.
• Bands will be contacted on equipment needs and provision for them is subject to availability.
• Application material shall not be used for any purposes other than screening for this audition.
• Application material will not be returned.
• We are unable to answer any inquiries on screening status or results after your application has been submitted. Only those applicants who have advanced to the next phase of the audition process will be notified of the results.
• No fees are required for entering this talent search.
• If you are entering this audition as a band or a group, please include profile of each member in the registration form.

1. Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "SMEJ") and Tokyo American Club (hereinafter referred to as TAC) will use personal information provided by applicants only for screening and notifying applicants who have advanced to the next phase of the audition process. The information will not be used for any other purposes.
2. SMEJ and TAC may disclose applicants’ personal information to SMEJ subsidiary companies for screening purposes only.
3. SMEJ and TAC will keep the furnished personal information secure taking necessary steps to protect it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, etc.
4. SMEJ and TAC will promptly destroy personal information in a non-reproducible manner once it serves its purpose as per point #1 above.
